20th Annual Changing Focus Gala
Saturday, November 2, 2019, 6-11pm (doors open 5:30pm)
The Single Again/Changing Focus Dinner and Auction social is the most festive event of the year. Wear something nice and be open to having a good time. Many past members, facilitators, alumni and those of us that are new to the group will be attending. There will be a catered dinner, music, live auction and dancing. Beach vacation rental, sports memorabilia, alluring gift baskets and more will be available to bid on.
Tickets are $40 and include dinner. Beverages will be available for purchase. This is our biggest and most important fundraiser of the year. Please come with an open heart to support this great organization that has helped many, many folks like ourselves get through a difficult transition.
Schedule
- 5:30pm Doors open
- 6pm Silent & Chinese auctions begin
- 7pm (or earlier) Dinner begins
- 7:15pm Silent auction ends
- 7:30pm Live auction begins and will end no later than 8:30pm
- 8:15pm Chinese auction ends (winners to be pulled directly after live auction ends)
- 8:30-9pm Cashier cashes everyone out
- 9pm (or earlier) Dancing and socializing continues until 11pm
It will help tremendously if everyone pays attention to the auctioneer and reduces their table chatter while the live auction is underway. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

The group is run by volunteers at the weekly meetings and on the board of directors. Those of you that have volunteered and many others that contribute with weekly donations or at fundraisers like this allow this group to continue. I sincerely thank all of those that have stepped up and supported Changing Focus/Single Again. For those that are willing, please talk with a facilitator, coordinator or a board member about volunteering we could use your help It is a very rewarding experience!
