What is Single Again?
Single Again was founded in 1978. Single Again provides discussion groups for adults experiencing marital separation or divorce. Weekly informative presentations are made by a mental health professional. Small group discussions led by trained group facilitators follow the presentations. Single Again provides a confidential, non-judgemental, safe and sharing atmosphere. Typical discussion issues include:
- Loneliness and alienation
- Depression and anger
- Economic and social adjustments
- Creating a new life
Who attends Single Again?
People attending Single Again are:
- Separated or divorced
- Not currently living with their partner or ex
What is Involved to Attend a Meeting?
New attendees should arrive 30 minutes before the normal group start time to attend a brief orientation. Pre-registration is not required.
What is the Cost to Attend a Meeting?
There is a small fee to attend a Single Again meeting. The fee is based on a sliding income scale. No individual will ever be turned away due to lack of funds.
